Why Scourge is Really 3 Transformers in 1 in Rise of the Beasts. 1 of the most interesting things about the character of Scourge is the fact that he combines 3 aspects of his namesake. He's a herald of Unicron and has an army of Sweeps like G1 Scourge. Transforms into a dark truck like Robots in Disguise Scourge. And he hails from a colony world like Cybertron Scourge. But he doesn't just reference he ealier incarnations. He also plays as a reference to 2 other Transformers as well. Since he acts as a dark counterpart to Optimus Prime with his truck mode and works under the servatude of Unicron. He mirrors the same story of Nemesis Prime from the Transformers Kingdom series.
