This video is a quick tutorial on setting your phone system for SMDR traffic.
This will work on a KX-TDE, NCP, NS and NSX phone system.
It is a good idea to set up the SMDR and test it with Hyper Terminal, Putty or TerraTerm (There may be others but I usually use these).
Once you have tested SMDR working on one of these terminals then you can confidently hand the SMDR details to the Call Accounting Software people or work on the accounting software yourself.
