Was looking for some cheap 223 ammo that would have good accuracy and come to the conclusion you are going to have to spend some money to get good accuracy. American eagle 50 grain varmint tipped has been the cheapest round I can find for around $13 bucks for 20 rounds I can find out there. Australian Outback 55 grain v max has been the 2nd best at $13 bucks for 20 rounds. Last week, picked up some Australian Outback 69 grain Sierra match king by mistake and is showing some good progress. Also anything Fiocchi makes in a polymer tip usually shoots well also. Hornaday makes good ammo also, but are proud of it $$.
