Welcome to my channel!
In this video I am going to show you how I restored the gelcoat on my $500 speed boat, and turned it from a oxidized dull chalky finish with no shine, into vivid colors, bright whites, and an amazing shine! In just 3 simple steps you can go from derelict to something that catches everyone's eyes as the boat launch. Do NOT get ripped off by the detailing industry, they are a bunch of scam artists that take advantage of people by rebranding things to sound more technical, and they sell snake oil. With this simple guide, I'll show you how to properly fix small flaws through wet sanding, then bring back the shine and reflections with a machine polish. Last step is to prevent it from happening again, you need to seal the surface to help protect it; instead of some overpriced "ceramic" nonsense, I'll tell you the truth on what the detailing industry doesn't want you to know.
Please check out the previous videos for more information on this build, it's a really cool 1981 CeeBee Avenger with a Mercury Black Max XR2 on the back of it. Cheers boys!
