These sub-artic migrants winter in Singapore regularly every year. They arrived in flocks, around Sept/October, spending their sojourn at Sungei Buloh Nature reserve. There, they fatten up before leaving again in March/April for their homeland to breed.
Eurasian Whimbrels are common migrants to Singapore.
