It's a two-piece setup that has a polycarbonate outer shell with a TPU inner shell, which all melds together seamlessly with the screen protector tray. The built-in screen protector is a great option that allows this case to be a one-stop-shop for your protection needs. It has MIL-STD drop protection, and this case is built like Fort Knox! The Unicorn name is very fitting, because you won't find anything else like this out in the wild. It's one-of-a-kind, and solid, from the ground up. The back of the case is unusually slick though, so you'll need to be aware of that. It's not the most grippy case on the sides either... so thankfully the case is super protective, in the event that you drop it. However, once nice part about the case not being texturized or grippy on the back is that it won't get stuck in your pocket!
