In February 2024 I was in the city of Dessau-Roßlau in the region Saxony-Anhalt. There I visited the former Bauhaus school. What is Bauhaus? The Bauhaus Building Dessau, or Bauhaus Dessau for short, is the former school building of the State Bauhaus in Dessau. It was designed by Walter Gropius in 1925 and built between 1925 and 1926 for the Bauhaus, previously located in Weimar, and for the Dessau School of Applied Arts and Crafts.
