A 10-week social enterprise internship for international post-graduate students. Residing in the beautiful Cape Town, South Africa. Transforms university learning into action. Working alongside local social enterprises on projects and making a difference where it’s needed most.
Cape Town is located in the South-Western most part of Africa. Settled in 1652 by
Dutch traders as a half-way point between Europe and the east Spice Islands,
although indigenous cultures have been here for thousands of years prior to
colonisation.
Today it is considered one of the top tourist destinations in the world.
It is home to natural attractions such as Table Mountain, one of the seven natural
wonders of the world, gorgeous beaches, and the world’s smallest independent plant
kingdom, the Cape Fynbos. It is also home to a diverse population of indigenous,
colonial, and immigrant inhabitants.
Cape Town is South Africa’s legislative capital, home to the Parliament of South
Africa, and the country’s second most populous city.
