During busy morning hours, curd chutney is the best option to make.This chutney is made from curd completely and tempering is made to enhance its flavor. This is served with idli, dosa, uttapam or even with vada. The slight sour taste of curd makes it more tastier .

Preparation time 5 mins

number of servings 2 persons
INGREDIENTS:
curd 1 cup
oil 2 to 3 tbsp
mustard seeds 1/2 tsp
split black gram ( urad dal ) 1/2 tsp
split chickpeas ( channa dal ) 1/2 tsp
gjnger small piece
shallots ( or onion ) 2 to 3
green chili 1
dry chilli 1
salt as required
coriander leaves few
curry leaves few
METHOD:
1. Add some oil in a pan. when the oil is heated add mustard seeds, split black gram. when the mustard seeds starts popping add split chickpeas . when it turns golden brown add chopped ginger, shallots , green chili and dry chilli. Fry all for a minute and add chopped coriander leaves ,curry leaves and required amount of salt.
2. Salute everything well, switch off the flame and add the curd . Mix it well and serve
