We got rained out trying to make a summit of Bald Mountain in the Uinta Mountains over the weekend. The Uinta Mountains contain the tallest peaks in all of Utah, including the tallest peak, Kings Peak. Bald Mountain sits at 11,900 feet and due to lighting and thunder we chose to not continue our journey to get Maylin to her highest elevation yet. There will always be a next time.
