The Comprehensive planning and performance assessment system (CPAS) is a tool to be used to assess the overall impact and effectiveness of UN Peacekeeping operations. The tool takes into account the local dynamics/operating environment, and allow us to know where and how the peacekeeping operations have the greatest impact, promote changes if needed, and be used to influence decisions for improved peacekeeping operations.
