I used to get so frustrated when soloing over a one chord groove. I just kept running out of ideas! It was when I was transcribing a bass solo of Jeff Berlin's that I discovered a super cool way of using the same information I already new, and simply moving the shapes into different keys - therefore getting a whole new sound and flavor over one chord... without having to do too many brain gymnastics! :)
