Ingredients for Tomato Galette:
Servings: 4-6 people
for the dough:
1 1/2 cups flour
1/2 tsp salt
10 tbsps. cold unsalted butter
6 tbsps. (or more) iced cold water
Filling:
3 big tomatoes, sliced into 1/4 inch thick
1 red onion
1 clove of garlic, minced
2 tbsps. olive oil
1 tsp thyme, fresh/dried
1/2 tsp salt
1/4 tsp black pepper
2 tsp mayo
1/2 cup gruyere cheese, grated
1/4 cup parmesan
2 tbsps. chopped basil, for garnish
