This may be controversial but we prefer visiting the Musee d’Orsay to the Louvre! The Louvre will take you literal days to finish while the Musee d’Orsay can be seen in half a day (or a full day if you take your time). But in no way is it small! Home to one of the largest collections of impressionist and post-impressionist masterpieces in the world from artists like Van Gogh, Claude Monet, Renoir, and so many more!
Visit the Louvre, obviously, to see the Mona Lisa, Venus de Milo, and the Coronation of Napoleon but definitely also go see the Musee d’Orsay!
