Deep in the haunted hallow where no one dares to go further than the broken old fence there lies Raven Manor. This abandoned old manor has been there for 100 years and the family that used to live there have all passed away, but have they all really left? Stories have swirled in town that candlelight can be seen flickering in the windows and ghostly apparitions are seen floating across the lawn. Long moans are heard from a distance and even the smell of a crackling fire at times. Though no one has lived in this manor for many years there still seems to be signs of the “after life” that have moved in!
This resident ghost has made himself very cozy in the manor, he loves the cobwebs and dusty old chairs. Fall leaves are scattered across the floor and even one of the autumn trees have grown into his living room and begun losing its’ leaves for the season. It’s mid-October and he’s gone to the pumpkin patch behind the house to carve his own jack o lanterns! He fetches a good book on scary ghost stories and curls up with a hot cup of “spider cider” in his favorite chair! His white sheet flaps with delight with each turn of the page as he learns all the wonderful ways to deliver a good fright! His faithful cat Sadie has come in from the cold and taken her place in the chair across from him, she begins to purr as the fire warms her up. The Full Moon has risen, and you can hear the occasional moan of the cool fall wind creeping through the cracks of the windows. As the old dusty grandfather clock chimes eerily in the night, and the jack o lanterns light dances across the living room floor the ghost beams with delight at his haunted manor!
