A fellow Yamaha THR10X owner requested George Lynch's Lynch Mob tone from the Wicked Sensation album.
I listened to the isolated guitar track from the song Wicked Sensation and tried my best to replicate the tone and the double-tracking. [ Ссылка ]
With the Yamaha THR10X, my usual starting point for 80s style tones tends to be the Brown I amp paired with the Fuel 4x12 cabinet. Then, I adjusted the Gain, Master, and EQ until I was happy with the result.
The biggest surprise was how little gain is used on the album track, but the tone still sounds fat and aggressive. Because of the low amount of Master, I needed to drastically increase the track gain in Audacity recording software.
I recorded two main rhythm guitar tracks with exactly the same settings, one panned 50% left and one panned 50% right in Audacity, playing exactly the same thing.
Yamaha THR Editor software settings are shown at the beginning and end of the video.

Guitar: 2009 Charvel USA Production Model So-Cal. Bridge pickup: DiMarzio Tone Zone. Only the bridge pickup was used to record this video. I keep this guitar tuned down one semitone and it matches the original Lynch Mob recording.
