The Egyptian International Aviation Exhibition, hosted by the Egyptian Ministry of Defence and the Egyptian Air Force, continues.
Turkish defense industry companies exhibit their products at the Egyptian Aviation Fair
While the defense industry products of companies from many countries around the world are on display at the exhibition, the aircraft performing air shows attract the most attention.
Participating in the fair, v performed its third demonstration flight with TAI Test Pilot Orhan Boran and Egyptian F16 Pilot Ahmed Elmallah.
“It was great for me to fly with HÜRJET”
Speaking to AA correspondent after the flight, Elmallah said that flying with HÜRJET was a great experience for him.
Elmallah said, “I am looking forward to the cooperation between the Turkish and Egyptian air forces with great excitement. I am an F16 pilot. It was great for me to fly with HÜRJET. It is a very good airplane to start with. It will get better in the future.”
“Africa is a market with a very high growth potential”
TAI General Manager Mehmet Demiroğlu said that Africa is a very important market for them.
Demiroğlu said, “Africa is a developing market. As our President showed us as a target 10 years ago, it is a market with a very high growth potential.”
Stating that their products are available in many countries including Africa, Demiroğlu said, “Egypt is a country that we attach importance to because it is on the African continent, its potential is very high, it is an effective member of the Arab League, our historical relations are very good and if we act together, it promises hope in the future. This fair is being organized for the first time and we participated in it. Our work will continue.”
