This video reveals how Jesus Christ responded to an expert in the Jewish Law, who questioned Jesus about the way to inherit eternal life, as recorded in Luke chapter 10. Jesus asked the expert what he himself thought and the expert replied that (according to Jewish Law) the way to inherit eternal life, was to love God with all one’s heart, soul, strength and mind; and in addition to love one’s neighbour as oneself. Jesus said this was correct and went on to tell a parable about the Good Samaritan to illustrate what loving one’s neighbour as oneself might look like.
