Maestro Previn was here conducting the London Symphony Orchestra and Chorus in a thrilling performance of Sir William Walton's Belshazzar's Feast, to celebrate the occasion of the composer's 70th birthday in September 1972 at the Royal Albert Hall. The baritone was John Shirley-Quirk.
