The Laugavegur hiking trail between Landmannalaugar and Þórsmörk was listed by National Geographic as one of the most beautiful trails in the world. The trail goes through incredibly colourful rhyolite mountains, black obsidian lava, wheezing hot springs, lakes, black sandy desert and ends in a lush forested area.
0:00 While we waited for the afternoon bus back to Reykjavik, we hiked up to Valahnúkur and did a loop back from volcano huts
