DKS had said that there was pressure on him to leave the Congress and join the BJP. He even added that he was offered the deputy CM's post if he left the Congress party and joined the BJP. This claim has now been strongly refuted by the IT minister of Karnataka, Dr Ashwathnarayan. He says that he is 'not aware of DKS being offered the Deputy CM post.'
