In July 2023, Noble Seeds Andhra Pradesh Area Manager Budda Sivaji visited farmer Shri Anjaneyulu at Paithanevaripalli village of Madanpalle for feedback about the NBH-Trupthi tomato crop.
The farmer had transplanted the NBH-Trupthi tomato seedlings in early April 2023 and completed multiple harvests during Noble Seeds’ representative’s visit in July 2023.
Farmer feedback:
Though he planted the seedlings at high temperatures, NBH-Trupthi withstood the heat and grew well even during the summer of 2023.
The farmer also observed fruit setting of good quality tomatoes of the right size and firmness.
Shri Anjaneyulu feels that the yield of NBH-Trupthi is better than in other companies’ hybrids, and the NBH-Trupthi variety also withstands rainfall without impact on fruit quality.
Between April 2023 and June 2023, farmer made four harvests of the crop.
Famer Shri Anjaneyulu plans to re-sow NBH-Trupthi in the future and recommends that other tomato farmers adopt the Noble Seeds NBH-Trupthi tomato variety.
