The Giuoco Piano is a really fun chess opening for white, in the Italian game. With some crazy lines and sacrifices, if your opponent isn't careful, you can easily trap them and get a cheeky checkmate or win the queen, depending on what they play. If not, you will have a solid game and get in an even but nice and comfortable position with a minor advantage.

One of the oldest recorded chess openings, it is widely used from beginners, to intermediate players, all the way through to the top levels of chess.
