Before I stopped drinking alcohol I tried to do everything I possibly could in order to keep booze in my life.

I attempted to moderate my drinking rather than have to 'give up' altogether. I attempted to only drink on certain days, cut down how much I drank and I even watered down my wine.

But did it work? Was moderate drinking the key to freedom and happiness?
