Atlanta Police are investigating a homicide at a northwest Atlanta home.
Detectives said the shooting happened just after 8:30 p.m. Wednesday on Vanderbilt Court. Investigators said a man in his late 20s was found shot at least once in the basement and died inside the home.
Neighbors told FOX's 5 Nathalie Pozo they heard more than four shots fired. The victim's uncle said his nephew was a father to two young girls, ages three and seven. Police did not release the man's name late Wednesday.
Investigators spent the evening talking to neighbors and gathering evidence at the home.
