"Run" by The Stray Pursuit, delves into the concept of recognising one's own self-destructive tendencies and how they impact a relationship. It was written at a time when everything seemed to be going wrong, as people slipped away from me, with only myself to blame. I was the villain in my own story. The chorus serves as a warning, urging others to steer clear for their own good. Run offers a gritty glimpse into the struggle against one's own demons.

Meet The Stray Pursuit
Hailing from Swansea, The Stray Pursuit emerges as a dynamic force in the realm of Alternative Rock. Known for their enthralling live performance featuring guitar-driven riffs and captivating vocals. Inspired by bands like Green Day, Fall Out Boy, and Guns 'N’ Roses, their music resonates with all who love Rock music.

The four-piece consists of lead singer Aaron Morgan, lead guitarist Dylan Evans, bassist Fred Wilkinson, and drummer Ben Lewis. They had their first gig in November 2018, quickly followed by a string of sold-out shows. Since then, they have supported The K's, Vida alongside Pastel, and featured on This Feelings ‘Big in 2020’. In June 2023, they sold out a headline show at The Bunkhouse for their single release ‘Let It Be Known’.

A new chapter unfolded at Longwave Studios in Cardiff, where they collaborated with producer Romesh Dodangoda to record their debut EP ‘Domino Effect’. It was released on December 8th, 2023. Having finished their EP release tour, and selling out Cwrw, Carmarthen, and the final date at The Moon Cardiff, The Stray Pursuit are set for an exciting 2024.
