The Mayor discussed critical issues facing New York City, and shared his vision for improving quality of life. In particular, he announced the Home-Stat program which aims to tackle homelessness in NYC. He also gave the crowd an update on affordable housing, universal Pre-K and infrastructure.
First Lady Chirlane McCray, Former Mayor David Dinkins, Former NYS Governor David Paterson, Secretary to the Governor Bill Mulrow, Deputy Secretary Mark Weprin, NYS Assembly Members Brian Kavanagh and David Weprin, Deputy Mayors Tony Shorris, Alicia Glen and Richard Buery, Police and Fire Commissioners Bill Bratton and Daniel Nigro, District Attorneys Richard Brown, Ken Thompson, and Cy Vance, Manhattan Borough President Gale Brewer, NYC Council Members Donovan Richards, Ritchie Torres and Steve Levin, NYC Transportation Commissioner Polly Trottenberg, Human Resources Commissioner Steve Banks, NYCEDC President Maria Torres Springer, NYC TLC Commissioner Meera Joshi, NYC CTO Minerva Tantoco, and Mayor’s Office of Operations Director Mindy Tarlow were in attendance, along with several other members of the de Blasio administration.
