Wordtheme Setup – Android

The differences between Wordtheme and Wordtheme Pro (from the text in the App)

• Faster and less memory use (because there is no ads)
• On the pro version, the application also allows you to:
• search on all dictionaries simultaneously
• get access to new games (crosswords)
• associate color to words (which allows to use another filter system for the list of words and for the games)

How to set it up for Cin’s Lessons on Android (I will do a specific one for IOS)
• Install Wordtheme or Wordtheme Pro from Google Play or Apple App Store
• Install Google Drive from Google Play or Apple App Store
• Let Ian know the google account details (Gmail address) linked to your Google Drive
• Open Google Drive
• Click “Shared” at the bottom
• Click in “Wordtheme Import” folder (Ian Smith)
• Look for the latest “Cin WT Load Vxx” file (The highest Vxx number)
• Click on the three dots to the right then click “Download”
• Open the “Files” App and navigate to “Downloads”
• Click the three dots to the right of the “Cin Class Vxx Vocab WT Load” file and click “Copy to” / Internal Storage / Download
• On the first occasion click on “Add new folder” and type in something like “WT Load” then click on “Copy to Folder”. The next and future times you do this just copy to the new folder. The file will be copied to Download/WT Load
• Open Wordtheme and click on the three lines top left (menu). Click on “Import File”. Import Local File
• Change Directory to Download / WT Load. Allow Access to WT Load the select the file. Click on Import. You now have the Theme (Dictionary) in your App
• Click on the top left three lines (menu) and click on the Dictionary you have just loaded.
• One last step. Every time you import a new dictionary click on the three lines again (top left). Click on settings . click on Audio. On the correct dictionary make sure it is set to “Speech Services by Google” (Samsung for example will give other options) and select Turkish. If it gives a Translation option select Turkish on that too. Select Validate
You can also set the Audio Settings from the Revision Games screen if you forget

• To tidy up if you have already imported an older dictionary click on the menu (three lines top left). Click on Delete Dictionary and select the older dictionary to delete
• Go and play with the Revision Games !


Note: You can add words and edit words but this Dictionary will be replaced weekly so there is no point !
You can create your own dictionary if you want to maintain your own version. If you do this you will want to back it up every time you make a change .
