Fifties influenced singer-songwriter and guitarist Richard Hawley delves into his record collection to bring you two hours of his favourite 50s nuggets. Expect anything, from the raucous to the rare.
Born into a musical family in a late 60s Sheffield, Hawley first found fame in the mid-90s as guitarist with The Longpigs.
After a brief stint touring as part of fellow Sheffield legends Pulp in the late 90s, Hawley decided to enter the studio alone.
His first proper solo album was Late Night Final back in 2001. He has since released six more solo albums to date including last year's Hollow Meadows.
Richard has also collaborated with a host of other musicians along the way including Lisa Marie Presley, Arctic Monkeys, Paul Weller and most notably, Duane Eddy on the 2011 album Road Trip.
