“Mind the gap” is often a statement used as warning to avoid. However, this Forum’s Speaker, Julie Mwabe, explores how paying mind to the gaps that exists within structures, approaches and policy is essential to expanding the impact in communities. Minding the gap addresses the necessity for inclusion, equity, and accessibility. During this forum, Julie Mwabe discusses her journey to her current role, the gaps her work has tried to fill with reports like Promises to Keep: Impact of COVID-19 on Adolescents in Kenya, and the necessary steps young Africans should take to build upon the concentrated efforts in their own communities.
This Forum took place on Saturday 23 April 2022.
