Wednesday 2nd February 2022 is the second day of the lunar new year, celebrated in countries including China, Korea, Malaysia, and Vietnam. This year, the occasion marks the start of the Year of the Tiger, an animal symbolising boldness and bravery. The festivities unfold over days, with Chinese traditions including food and gifts of money. On the Rock, David Liu, owner of Birdie Cafe, helped prepare some special dishes for local resident, Ming Ming Peters, to share with her colleagues at BetVictor.
