We took the ferry to Delos from Mykonos and it was a highlight of our trip! Located in the center of the Cyclades islands, Delos was considered a holy island and the birthplace of Apollo and Artemis in Greek mythology. Uninhabited (well, except for cats and lizards), Delos is now an extensive archaeological site including ruins of the Naxian lions, a small sphinx, and a Colossus.
