Wild giant panda mother and cub on Tuesday were caught sharing quality time by a camera when a reporter was working in Hanzhong City of northwest China's Shaanxi Province.
The mother was eating bamboo leaves while her cub was having fun in a place nearby. The two didn't mind being recorded by camera and focused on their own businesses.
The footage is rare seen as wild female pandas are highly alert to any changes of the environment and usually would quickly leave when they sniff something dangerous.
The fourth national giant panda survey from 2011 to 2014 showed that a total of 345 giant pandas were living in Qin Mountains area, an increase of 20 percent compared with that of one decade ago. The habitat for giant panda was 360,000 hectares while the area was 347,000 hectares 10 years ago.
