1930s: Disney’s Adaptation of the Grim Reaper from Mickey Mouse The Haunted House
1940s: Red Skull, his first appearance was in Captain America Comics Issue 1 in March 1941.
1950s: Skull-Face from the Mystery Tales Comic Series.
1960s: The 7 Armed Skeletons from the 1963 film Jason and the Argonauts
1970s: Ghost Rider who first appeared in Marvel Spotlight Number 5 in August of 1972.
1980s: Skeletor from He-Man his first appeared in He-Man and the Power Sword in 1981
1990s: Jack Skellington is the main character in the 1993 film, The Nightmare before Christmas
2000s: The Grim Adventures of Billy & Mandy’s adaptation of the Grim Reaper, this series made it’s debut on August 24th, 2001.
2010s: It’s a beautiful day outside for Sans from Undertale, which first released on September 15, 2015.
