This is one of my absolute favorite Sicilian recipes of all... Pesto alla Trapanese, served with the traditional pasta shape called "busiate".
Of course you can serve this wonderful, raw, cold tomato and almond sauce with any pasta shape you may prefer, but if you watch my little video I will show you how to make the pasta from scratch too.
Made of cherry tomatoes, almonds, basil, garlic, pecorino and extra virgin olive oil, you know it's going to taste terrific! The pesto itself is made in less than 5 minutes- and what's not to love about that?
