This weekend, the MRM had it's railroad days. Being in Decatur, I'm only a half hour away, but this was the first year I've attended. My son (1.5 years old) and I went for half the day, and had a great time. The museum had a number of trains running constantly, plus smaller activities and food on the grounds. Couple that with the great weather, and it made for a great day!
There were a number of trains that were running today (I got video of all but the speeders):
-Streamliner train
-Freight Train
-Mixed Train
-Caboose Hop
-Speeder Rides
My son and I rode the streamliner train, freight train (in the caboose), and the caboose hop before he was exhausted for the day.
Railroad days is continuing through tomorrow as well! I will definitely be returning in future years!
