We're leaving Oklahoma and heading to Colorado for a seasonal gig we found via Coolworks, so we thought we'd make a travel vlog we can look back at later on and to share with our friends and family.

We're breaking up the video into different parts because we know a lot of you lead busy lives and might not have an hour to spend consecutively on YouTube. Also, we're working right now and these videos take time and patience to make. We want them to be enjoyable and would rather spend the time to make them such instead of just throwing out raw cuts.

Now for the good stuff...

In today's video, we are leaving Gloss Mountains and heading to Beaver Dunes Park (all still in Oklahoma). Gloss Mountains (sometimes referred to as the Glass Mountains) are not actually mountains at all, but a series of mesas and buttes that are part of the Blaine Escarpment that extends from the Permian red beds of northwestern Oklahoma in Major County.

When we got back into our RV, Big Boy Corduroy, after a nice and windy hike - we noticed that we had accidentally picked up a hitchhiker. We ended up bonding very quickly and he rode over two hours with us. You'll have to watch the video to find out what happened with him.

Somehow on our way to have lunch and visit a historical site we ended up at a prison... I honestly couldn't make this stuff up. The adventures we found ourselves in are truly that for a Youtube video. I'm just so thankful we always have our camera handy.

When we finally made it to Beaver Park a.k.a. Oklahoma's Bermuda Triangle a.k.a. Shaman's Portal we were able to really relax and just enjoy each other's company. We were the only ones out there and it was so lovely to be able to take a walk in nature together and just enjoy the silence.

Later that night we decided to do some stargazing. We had heard people see green lights and others have gone missing in the area... Well, none of that was the case for us, but we did see something extraordinary and unexplainable that night that is still so fresh in our minds.
