Dean Eric Meyer discusses the interdisciplinary approach of the School of Information at the University of Texas at Austin. Together, we study and educate people about the interactions of people and information, the processes of organizing and preserving information for meaning and use, and the impact of new and emerging technologies and behaviors on individuals, organizations and society.
