Phu Quy is a very small fishing island, ‘Island of Precious Riches', located about 120 km from the mainland of Phan Thiet, Vietnam. As it’s still controlled by the military, foreign travellers must obtain a permit to visit Phu Quy. The island captured our hearts with its natural beauty, as it hasn’t been spoilt by heavy construction and fancy resorts.
Vlog 21 Phu Quy Part 1: our stay at a new container concept guesthouse, visiting a Pagoda with a super long reclining Buddha, drinking some cocktails and locally brewed alcohol, watching crabs and crayfish being caught and breaking into a lighthouse.
Vlog 22 Phu Quy Part 2: mainly shows us riding our bikes through this tiny laid back island, surviving beaches with strong winds, visiting a pagoda on top of a mountain and just witnessing everyday life.
