Our overnight stay at the Big Texan Amarillo RV Ranch and dinner at the restaurant. Additional excitement was the blizzard that came through a day and a half earlier than forecasted one day prior (gotta love Texas weather). We enjoyed our stay, very friendly staff, complementary limo ride from the RV park to the restaurant and back (tip the driver), and long pull-thru sites available. Heated indoor pool and hot tub was available. Bathhouse was clean and plenty of hot water. Dinner was delightful and we grabbed souvenirs (standard for us). We will stay again as we pass through Amarillo on the 40. I know Texas weather changes constantly and we are always prepared with plan-B and C. Thank you to the Big Texan RV Ranch and restaurant for having us, and thank you to Dairy Queen in Vega, TX for allowing us to seek shelter in your parking lot for a few hours of the early morning!
