After Polychromos but can't afford it? Why not try Faber Castell's beginner range instead? They come in 12, 24, 36, 48 & 60 packs so there is an option for every budget. They do have the Faber Castell colour numbering system so you'll be able to use them with the Polychromos when you work your way up to them. You can source them on Amazon.

Hey Doodle!
I'm Smurf, and on this channel we are going to back to basics, starting from scratch to develop artistic skills and creativity!
I'm taking the opportunity to bring you along with me on this doodle journey!
On 'dooart' we will be covering drawing skills, (from the beginning) from realism to toons!
We will also cover 'how to' Medium tutorials, involving mainly coloured pencils, alcohol markers & watercolour brush pens - and one great note is at this stage I mainly only use 'entry level' art supplies, which are affordable, so more easily accessible for beginners.
We will also explore crafts at times, as we would like to keep our doodling energy flowing, by exploring other ways to be creative. You can expect to see things like crochet, knitting, Macrame and polymer clay tutorials as these are the kind of crafts I like to get into!
