In this snare drum warm up exercise we will practise three of the most well-known rudiments:
Single Strokes, Double Strokes and Paradiddles.
We will play them through all the main note values:
Quarter notes (Crotchets)
Eighth notes (Quavers)
Eighth triplets (Quaver triplets)
Sixteenth notes (Semiquavers)
Sixteenth triplets (Semiquaver triplets)
Thirty-second notes (Demisemiquavers)
The entire exercise takes under 5 minutes to complete and is easy to remember.
The tempo is 60 BPM but increase the playback speed if you need more of a challenge.
