A lathe tailstock sensitive drilling attachment designed in Fusion 360. Chuck is a Rohm RKC-20147 6.5mm (from Tracytools.com). The chuck 3/8-24 thread was thread cut onto the arbor first, then the arbor sliding surface was turned, with the chuck gripping a hard steel rod turned down to 6.5mm in the lathe collet chuck for good concentricity. The other end of the arbor was running in a live centre. This resulted in less than 0.03mm runout of a rod gripped in the drill chuck with the arbor mounted in a collet (the chuck spec. is more than 0.1mm). Bushes are 10mm bore 13mm OD by 16mm long.
