Sinking ships In this movie we can see suggestive images of a ship sinking from the inside.
The Pocahontas tug, now called Danny is going down in front of palm beach
Look at how the water comes first slowly and then breaks violently.
In this other shot we can see the bridge of the same ship get submerged and then sink quickly.

In these wonderful movies With Kubrick style framing We can see the sinking of USS Arthur W Radford battle ship
If we look down we can see the water entering the ship at first slow then accelerating to the grand finale
The movie is initially accelerated to 2.5x then returns normal in the end.
