Take a walk far beyond the beaten paths. Welcome to industrial Wola district of Warsaw, where you will find historic factory buildings from the turn of the nineteenth and twentieth centuries.
We will start at the new "Manhattan", i.e. Daszyńskiego roundabout, where the capital's business center has developed. Only two tram stops further there is Gazownia Warszawska and two gas tanks adjacent to it. Unique on a European scale, you will find similar only in Vienna. Then we will see the remains of the Lilpop factory, and the housing estate of the employees of the Warsaw-Kalisz Railway. Do not miss the railway viaduct on Armatnia Street, it is one of the oldest reinforced concrete structures in Warsaw.
Your guide will be Aleksander Figielski, winner of the second prize in the "Warsaw Gems" competition. Competition participants submitted routes along the hidden attractions of the capital. You can find the top 10 at: [ Ссылка ]
