It is also called the Bermuda triangle of Iran. It is called Rig e Jenn since the locals believe there are certain Jinn's (invisible beings) who reside in this part of desert, and anyone who wants to cross this particular part of the desert will never succeed and will disappear or they will find his/her corps. Even the camels and animals are afraid of this part of the desert and will not enter it.
