In Tulsa and Oklahoma City, Bus Rapid Transit (BRT) lines have recently begun operating. However, according to the ITDP BRT standards, neither of these public transit services are technically BRT. Instead, these are simply high frequency, well-designed bus routes which are introducing more Oklahomans to the possibility of using public transit in their home cities.
