In this repair, we have a MacBook Pro 15” A1398 with wifi issues. First, we replace the wifi card but no changes, we then took out the logic board, and during the assessment, we started at J3501, PP3V3_WLAN was missing at pin 1, so we narrowed it down to U3550, and found it faulty, replaced it, and PP3V3_WLAN_R was now present, thus, the wifi issues were resolved.
