More a sculptural art piece than a simple keyboard. Curves, stacks, a brass bridge, a viewing window? A sandwich mounted design, the plate being compressed between the top and lower case with no dampening does not allow for flex. With the full metal on metal contact of all the pieces (top case, plate, bottom case), energy transference is to be expected; case ping is audible and in this video we will try to address this by isolating the plate.
Build Specs:
TGR x Linworks Dolice - KLC Hobbyist's Playground
Aluminum plate - no sound dampening foams
Cherry MX Black Hyperglide - 200k machine actuations, lubed with Krytox 203g0, filmed with TX 0.15, spring swapped to TX 62g long springs

Special thanks to my buddy @BlauAube for loaning the Dolice for this video!
All soundtests are recorded using a Shure MV7 dynamic microphone positioned 6 inches above the keyboard. No sound editing or EQ was applied.
