Shiv Sena (Uddhav Thackeray) leader Sanjay Raut on May 11 welcomed Supreme Court’s order on Maharashtra political crisis. He said that the current government is illegal and was formed against Constitution. He also demanded the resignation of Maharashtra Chief Minister Eknath Shinde.
Sanjay Raut said, “Supreme Court has said that the Shiv Sena Shinde group's Whip is illegal...The current government is illegal and formed against the Constitution, Vidhan Sabha Speaker cannot kill Constitution in the state of Dr Babasaheb Ambedkar. We demand resignation of Chief Minister. No one can claim on Shiv Sena.”
